So, are they or are they not a waste of time?
I'm willing to admit that (at this point in my temping career) I have very little patience with registering with new agencies. But the "Registration Ritual" with these people, which involved having to call the "Presentation Center Specialist" after a whole day of taking tests, I think might be too much for a whole lot of people.
I took a look at this person's business card and it doesn't even look like she is a temp counselor (i.e. she is not the person giving out assignments), her card says she is some kind of director of technology. Right, and I am Director of Converting Oxygen into Carbon Dioxide. |
